Pure Pressure!!!

It is becoming harder and harder to post pictures on this blog
because of the pressure that other bloggers put on us.
That blogger will have to remain nameless!
I have not figured out how to put those special imprints
on my pictures so they look professional and of course
will not be copied. (As if my pictures would be copied)
If I am going to continue to post, I will have to go get newer,
bigger, and better equipment just to keep up.
Not only that, but I will still have the problem of how
I will be able to travel around the globe so I
can take pictures of exotic animals such as
zebras, giraffes, elephants, and baboons!
(Maybe sneak off to the zoo)
Maybe if I attend professional photographer seminars
I will join the ranks of the elite?
Oh the dilemma and pressure! If anyone has a
solution to this problem that I (as well as many of you are
probably feeling) please send me some ideas. I
want to post pictures but the pressure....

Spring!

There is a wonderful feeling in the air and God called it Spring! There is a sweetness in the breeze along with freshness and newness of life everywhere you look. The beautiful buds on the trees and the flowers that are blooming after the coldness of winter. And of course kids outside enjoying the weather as God had planned it all to be.
What a beautiful time of the
year it is!!

A sad note

Thankfully State Competition is over!! The choral group placed first so we get to go to Bob Jones University!! They are quite excited. I am taking 40 students and 7 or more adults. It should be interesting! I am still recovering from it as well as the time change!!! I had someone take pics, but they didn't turn out! Oh well! Better luck next time.

I am now just trying to get my choir ready for their 2 services and nationals. They are having a hard time concentrating because of OGT testing and the weather. But, life does go on.

I read my mail this morning and was saddened to learn the Roger Bennett of Legacy Five passed away. He was only 48 years old. I always enjoyed watching him and listening to him. My heart goes out to his wife and children. Another southern gospel musician has passed on.

I also found out today that our neighbor lady has breast cancer. She came out when I was unloading the groceries from the van and asked us to pray for her and the family. She is trusting God no matter the outcome! So many hurting people! So why do I complain?

If I didn't have God to trust, then I have no idea how I would make it!!

Trenton's Birthday!

Happy Birthday Trenton!
You are now 6 years old!!
You have been looking forward to this all year!
Why? Because at 6 you get to spend the night with
Aunt Bev! (that is what he says) and Timmy!!
You are my sweetheart!!!
I love you bunches!!

Crazy!! Interesting!!

Is he not adorable?! We had crazy week at school and this was crazy hair day!! They all wanted to participate, except Trenton! He thought they were looney!!

They had lots of fun! Boys are a whole lot easier to do something with. Brooklynn's hair- oh my! I tried to think of something!! Breanna was embarrassed to get out of the van at school, but she did!! They had fun!

A Wonderful Sunday!

We had a great day today! This morning we went up to Dayton and heard Mercy's Mark in concert at a Nazarene church. Everyone was welcoming and we enjoyed the group. We really like two of their songs. Then this evening we went to Franklin and heard James Plank preach. WOW! It was a wonderful sermon, challenging and encouraging to me. I always enjoy the people there and it was great to talk with some old friends! They have such a great mixture of people - young, middle and older people. It would be enjoyable to attend there - if God allowed! *-*
